What do the US Army, American Crystal Sugar Co., Farmers in five Midwestern states and LM Glasfiber have in common?

They are among Kringstad Ironworks’ satisfied customers. Bernie Kringstad began custom fabricating solutions for farming and manufacturing clients over 10 years ago, in Hoople, ND.  He soon found that he needed around a 11-person crew to keep filling the orders.  The dedication and quality shown by the company sparked growth worthy of investment.  Within two short years, Bernie’s crew expanded over 45 full-time employees, and an additional 17 part-time/seasonal employees, manufacturing products on not only national, but also an international level.

The Hoople Shop is a old farm Quonset that has been renovated into a machining and repair facility.  This is where Kringstad Ironworks all got started.  It is Home of the Safe-T-Pull, a intelligently designed hitch system that helps stuck equipment to “get out of the mud”  Here is where all of the machining, shearing, bending, and farm repairs are done.  It is rurally located near Hoople ND.

Park River is where our 50,000 square feet manufacturing facility is located.  This location holds our main offices and is equipped with 20 ton capacity overhead cranes.  Also most of the welding and fabrication work is done here.  We hold a large steel inventory including sheet metal, I-beams, plates, and all types of structural material.  Also this facility houses our C-N-C Plasma pattern cutting table.
